First time ever seeing this car and me thinks it's beautiful. It's like they mashed a vintage 1st gen mustang vintage Astin Martin and vintage Alfa Romeo. Beautiful and probably rare and super hard to find even just a shell and chassis to build on. The design of this car has got me I. Love with car design of that era. This being a restomod to me makes this car awesome. My first video on this channel and subscribed.

We drove a Volvo P - 544 from Connecticit to Alaska and back in 1967. Great car for 2500 miles of gravel road. I wish I had the money to put a supercharged 2.5 l engine and 5 spd tyranny in one of those. That would be a great dirt road car pretty quick on pavement as well. It would only look slow.

And how much boost are they pushing into that 2.0L engine?! 420 HP?! Out of TWO LITRES?! Listen to that blow-off valve when you let off the throttle! Wow!! What a car!

Why is literally every modernized old car stupidly expensive. I just want like a sixty thousand euro fun car I can throw about without worrying about crashing a half million euro car? I'd so much rather the body and monocoque be aluminium and actually be able to afford the damn thing then the entire car be carbon fiber to save 10 kg.

My dad had an original Volvo P18 sports car. It was quite rapid back in the day, and was somewhat inclined to misbehave when going around corners (the tail could come out). My dad was a good driver, and was always in control, but although he drove fast, he had to be somewhat cautious when approaching bends. I remember going up to 120 mph when going down the A3 with him driving, back in the early 1960s. In this latest incarnation, it looks to be awesome. Thanks for this video - great stuff. But paying half a million Euros for a car? Forget it!
