What I think you should do before building a 67 gt500 is getting a plackerd on the car with a different name than Eleanor that way if they try to sue you for using the name Eleanor you can get a judge to see that the car is named something other than Eleanor they have licensing for the name Eleanor but they don't have the ford license to say you can not build a gt 500

It's also the reason people go bankrupt with medical bills in the USA and no other modern nations.

At the end there you seem to be mixing copyright and trademark. Copyright you can not enforce for years and then just sue everyone one day. Trademark has to be defended from even just one infringement or you risk losing your mark.

I don't see it. You have to build an exact replica of the car in question or it doesn't count. Or could I sue everyone that has the same four names as I do including my nick just as I somehow would put ownership on those names? I name my car Beatrix and then Quentin Tarintino owns it?
