There's not many bird experts, even amongst vets! You sir are one! I hope you're doing a stream soon bc i'm having a hell of a problem with my peckin ducks. I love what you do, I think it's amazing how you save little creatures that other people wouldn't even notice or care the slightest about. HOWEVER - if this had happened where I'm from, you would have gone to prison for this. In my country, taking birds' eggs is illegal, and I'm pretty sure it is in the Netherlands as well (I'm from Sweden). If you are a certified wildlife rescue person and allowed to do these kind of things, please state so in the videos!! Otherwise people might think this is totally fine and just go out to steal eggs randomly, which would be catastrophical. Please address this!

Hello, I am trying to save a little female gouldian finch that got hurt in a cage. I put her appart from the other in a to give her tranquility, warm and help her get better. Her leg is really hurt, it doesn't appear broken but she ripped appart scales. The leg seams to have swollen and I am affaraid she will loose her leg. Do you have any advise ? Her the vet are really expensive and it would be difficult for me to get her to a vet Thanks for your help

Unless i'm wrong.. because you stressed out the mother and didn't replace the eggs with dummy ones. You may have inadvertently stopped her from ever breeding or raising chicks to maturity again. During warmer seasons, of course.
