Quick correction at 8:20 with the seats - the lever on the backrest will move the seat forward so you can access the third row. The procedure shown at 5:40 lets you move the front seat forward so you can stow the second row. My mistake!

Love your reviews...most of the time. However, one suggestion I might add is that sometimes you may want to consult the owners manual. I'm referring to perhaps, the most important feature of the Pacifica: second row stow, which you didn't discuss. That little B-pillar seat tilt button that advances the front seats is NOT so you can have more legroom with which to watch movies. It is (thank god) to ease the stowing of the second row, instead of having to got to the front seat slide controls. One last issue, I own a BMW M3 Comp, an X3M Comp, AND a 2020 Pacifica S (fwd). I can promise you that the WAY a minivan drives, brakes, steers, accelerates is one of the most important aspects of Minivans, especially in the context of safety. The fwd Pacifica has massive, immense torque steer that kills the driving experience and creates safety issues. It spins its front tires every time you step on the gas, and on the snow (even with full snows), it is an absolute traction joke, and that fwd lack of traction creates issues in corners, and even around parking lots. I realize my other cars are true performance cars, yet I just drove the AWD Pacifica, and I can tell you that it drives enormously better than any minivan heretofore. The awd makes it stable and competent. It does not drive "just like you'd expect a minivan to drive." Again, I love your interviews.

I think Doug did this van a disservice. I drove a Voyager last month when I had to move some stuff and I was impressed by the responsive power that it had. Plus it rode quite smooth to the point where I was going 70-90mph and had the urge to go even faster to see what it was capable of. Plus it looks way better than the out dated style of the Doge Grand Caravan.

I was curious about the second row sunroof, looks huge. and if there was any difference in the second row stow and go seats in how they fold down into the floor. Probably just how the caravan has done them for years.

I'm a little disappointed you didn't review the hybrid version, though it loses the convenience of the vacuum and the all-wheel drive feature. I also wish you'd touched on the spare tire situation: if it's anything like our 2018 hybrid Pacifica, this one doesn't have a spare, because that space is taken up by the vacuum. The hybrid loses that space to the 12 volt battery, for some reason (no vacuum option). You also missed that the base model Pacifica also has second row stow and go seats (which is why that button exists to move the front seats forward and back when the door is open), but the trade off here is that the seats in this model (and the hybrid) are much more comfortable. And I can tell you from experience that lugging them in and out of the van is a pain! Though not as bad as the old bench second row seat in our 1984 Voyager.

Botched the explanation for the button that moves the front seats forward.It is Mainly for accessing the stow and go compartment for the second row of seats. It also has a memory function that put the seat back to its last position instead of having to hold the lower seat slider for a continuous period. There is also a strap on the back of the second row that makes accessing the third row easier than any other vehicle. Please ask Experts instead of making it up.

Also that button for “more leg room” is to make it easier to put the seats in the sto and go

@Doug Demuro The reason for the button and the front seats moving forwards is to make it easy to access the storage area under the feet area of the second row. Also the second row slides forward of you use the big handle at the top of the seat.

I kinda hate this review. I know that everyone thinks minivan = kids but honestly this is a perfect car for group commuters and company cars. Great storage and fits 6 adults better than most SUVs.

This is the first time I have heard you not say something correct about a feature. The lower button on the back door jam is not for more legroom, it is to allow for the storage of the seats into the floor. It makes sure that there is not interference. I am actually surprised that you didn’t talk about the ability to store those seats without having to remove them from the car like other mini vans. Also, when not stored, those compartments allow for extra storage in the cabin!!! Great for wet snow boots or wet suites, or snacks and water bottles!!!!

Who would spend $50k on a Chrysler minivan, it's not like Chrysler is know for reliability, high resale value, or currently any other models under the Chrysler name division beside the van. Do yourself a favor get a Sedona with a better warranty, get a Sienna with a higher resale/depreciation value and reliability. Hell get a Odyssey even with hondas bad transmissions and torque converters it still holds its value better then a Chrysler. Get a Dodge Caravan oh yeah those got phased out in 2020. Chrysler Dodge is only alive because of Jeep, and the Challenger and Durango. Suzuki in America, Mercury, Pontiac, Saturn, Saab, Edsel, look out Chryslers aboitbto meet you all.

I own a Pacifica, and my kid is grown and in college. It's just an awesome road trip vehicle. Doug missed that the button to move the seats forward is for stow-n-go. It moves the seat forward so you can fold the second row. Everything folds flat so you can have a nap back there. Or sexytime with the Mrs. 🤷‍♂️
