I don't know if anyone has pointed it out yet but, of you need to counter-sink for hex head bolts (or anything with a 90 flange) use Forstner bits. You can find a small set @ the "blue" store for around $30.

Yeah that's called a Countersunk not flat head or domed. You just need to dill out the plastic abit more to fit those cap screws...

I would have thought one end should float/slide and the other fixed for the axle otherwise it will get stretched or compressed? That or the geometry is perfect and it can be fixed at both ends...

You also can also change your oil viscosity inside your shocks along with preload on your springs and dampening adjustment on your reservoirs.. that will help keep the ride height stiff until you are moving and cycling your travel

Just came across this 'thing'. I love it already. There is something awesome in taking a vehicle that's designed for speed on smooth roads and making it a dirt / off-road car. It's like taking a fish out of water and telling it to run hurdles XD.

In retrospect, why not adjust the more tough rear springs first then use the weaker springs to do the minute adjustments..l think u should read and research before doing some of that suspension work

You should consider wrapping the back end with a thick durable wrap vs using sheet metal. It would shave off a few lbs on that back end, you could do a faux carbon fiber....

I think dual shocks in the rear would look more appropriate for such a crazy build love it though
