What is Dark Matter and Dark Energy?

What is dark energy? What is dark matter? Well, if we knew exactly we would have a nobel prize - we know that they exist though. So what do we know about those strange things?

@Zaskira Cabrera That's true. But the basis of their math will be the same as ours. We discovered calculus, set theory, hypergeometry, differential algebra. But arithmetic, euclidean geometry and linear algebra are still at the core of our mathematics. New innovations are introduced, but the old ones remain intact.

bruh what if the speed of the universe's expansion is getting faster because of relativity? as there's less density in the universe (from everything getting more distant from each other) then time would begin to move faster, right? so, if the speed of expansion is "tr" (time multiplied by rate), then 1r would be the base speed. relativity kicks in from overall density decreasing. suddenly, we have 1.5r. whatever rate is, that would be a slightly faster speed of expansion. then it goes to 2r even faster. this would cause the exponential growth. to humans, we would think the speed of expansion is getting faster. but in reality, _time_ is moving faster, and we don't realize it because we still process time the same way. this solution is based upon previous theories (einstein's relativity) and is theoretically feasible. to be honest, when i was younger, i was really good at counting in time with a clock internally, even if i didn't see the clock. but now, the clock always seems to be faster than my count. i'm aware that my mind could just be getting slower, but if this happens on a wider scale, then this could be the effects of universal time moving faster. our clocks would move faster with it. if you understand relativity more than i do, let me know if this idea is completely incorrect by any stretch of the imagination.

Here is my thoughts about this; When Energy + Anti Energy equals to Anti Energy, this will create the anti matter. If Energy is stronger and when Energy + Anti Energy equals Energy, this will create the Matter. Big bang was an example of this. When matter + anti matter equals matter, this will create energy. When matter + anti matter equals anti matter, this will create anti energy, the blackholes. and yes, I know that we think blackholes are full of energy.

You said at the beginning of the video that what we experience is just 5% of reality. What if the rest of the 95% if reality is the nature of the universe and the 5% reality which we experience is the exception?? 1:57 The way you are excluding blackholes is not convincing at all. Blackholes can also be everywhere in or between galaxies, and have the same effects as this hypotethical dark matter. There are supermassive black holes in the center of galaxies, so there are probably even bigger ones outside, which ate up whole galaxies.

Allah says in the glorious Qur'an in chapter 67 verse 3 the following.. Allah created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks? The scholar Ibn Kathir said about "Who has created the seven heavens one above the other; meaning stacked one on top of the other. Are they connected to each other, meaning that they are in elevated ascension, - some of them being stacked above others, - or separated with space between them So the Qur'an a book which was revealed to the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him nearly 1500 years ago is telling humanity that multiverse exists.

I think that dark energy and dark matter are either strange matter, or just space itself. I feel like it is more likely that it is just space itself, but expanding at different rates. Dark matter could be space that expands slowly, and dark energy could be space that expands rapidly. Since dark energy is noted to become stronger the more empty space there is, not weaker like one would expect, it is likely that this is the correct explanation. Perhaps rewriting Einstein’s relativity equation in the term of a different variable could yield an equation for dark energy and dark matter.

Wait..... so the term "dark matter" is basically just a place-holder for whatever is really going on out there? I mean, how do we know that there's a thing called "dark matter" if we only have evidence of an absence of normal energy? I guess what I'm asking is if dark matter is still just a theory, or if there's anything more specific to suggest it's existence? Otherwise, couldn't I just say that it's actually not dark matter, but invisible mashed potatoes and basically have just as valid a theory? What concrete evidence do we have to suggest the existence of dark matter?

There are numerous independent tests that can be done on the obserbvable universe. Every test brings back the same number of "missing" mass. So one of two possibilities exist, either our formulas that have been infallible up to this point are wrong. Or there is a certain amount of matter that we have not been able to detect, called dark matter.

if dark matter has gravity and bends light then how come they don't attract other things and how come they don't form stars and galaxies made of dark matter? since there are 5 times more of those things then normal matter.
