i've seen several of these videos but that Irish lady is on it! then again, i'd rather fly in her plane than with those pilots that are just goofing around about the view/weather/clouds :P

Interesting that they cleared the incoming plane to land before Shamrock 146 Heavy had even started to roll. This is obviously SOP and works out just fine almost all the time. But ... it's easy to image a scenario in which the departing plane has a hitch in getting rolling or blows an engine halfway down the runway and results in a huge Tenerife-style collision. I'm sure the "cleared to land" plane has go around capacity but still ... in the midst of a pandemic and air travel down, one has to wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze of stacking the planes this close.

Amazing, most civilians are totally baffled the first time they encounter a traffic circle intersection, easy to see why takeoff and landing is so dangerous, and that was done without weather! Still discombobulating to see a cockpit without a yoke for a non pilot, thank goodness for the professionalism of the crews that fly us to our destinations.

You have to be insane to fly.. Its a lot safer than it used to be but the statistics that say it is the safest form of travel are a lie. If you work it out correctly (which they don't) it is at least 8 times less safe than driving and probably far worse. But don't let the truth get in the way of money....

With new "Digital Cockpits," would be nice if they can implement real-time updates and GPS while on the ground. Of course constant radio communication with the tower is required.
