They made mistakes like only taking American credit cards and lacking basic anti-fraud strategy, and still left with 5 billion dollars more plus a 20% stake in Didi? I barely call this a failure consider the level of incompetency that rocked the start. Imagine what would they achieve if they didn't make those stupid mistakes.

Let me just put it this way, the affluent Chinese which is a huge population of them, in China, always prefers to buy foreign brands because they trust foreign brands more than the local brands. Taking milk powder as an example, if given a choice, they will always buy foreign brand milk powder and not local branded milk powder. Any foreign brand that fails in China simply did not know how to run their business in a fair manner in China.

"Illuminati" or the people that "control" the world are possessed humans. They are possessed by humans that evolved at death and are now psychic. They can control animals and insects. They can control emotions by turning them up and down. Like when you should feel a little anger they can make you feel a lot of anger. Same goes with any emotion. They can throw random thoughts in your head and you would never know. Look up gang stalking on NLcameras it is clear evidence they are very real. They are 4th dimensional I have seen them open a worm hole. I contacted through meditation and am now being tortured in my own head for it. They don't want anyone evolving this is what happens when you do. No, your crazy. Don’t hate evaluate

Besides clogging up city streets with unskilled, dangerous drivers, Uber and all rider shares are parasitic companies that circuitously extract wealth from taxpayers and employees by having their free lancers pay for their own vehicles and insurance. For those, who are injured by Uber, who pays the bill? The same goes for scooters. These private companies use resources paid for by taxpayers (sidewalks, public bus stops, streets) and have no responsibility when pedestrians are injured). They make city living absolutely miserable.

I don't think Uber failed in China; most people don't know Uber is still getting money in China today as a user in China begging in 2015 when the uber comes from Los angles to China. Uber is a monopoly company because there is no other competitor; the only thing Uber will pay for is request access to the big database from Tencent and Baidu, the two biggest technology companies. Until 2017, all the competitors appear; uber already earns a tremendous amount of money without taxes in Shanghai. During 2017, not only two company pops up in 2017 to plunder uber's big market. The vicious competition is being spread in early 2018. A huge number of taxi drivers lose their job because of the private car business. More than ten compies like DiDi gives a tremendous discount coupon when you ride on every single time. I remembered in 2018, when I took an app to a drive about 40 mins, from Puxi to Pudong, I only spend 41 cents because they give me a 100 RMB coupon, and the original total cost is about 104 yuan. And remember, China has inexpensive transport fees original back in 2016. I remember the starting fee in Los angles is about 15 dollars, and the starting fee in shanghai is only 1.4 dollars. Uber is in the most "badass" and rude competition ever because there is no specific law to sanction all the private car drivers until mid-2018 until the law is published and used. Most of the companies being collapse because they can't follow the rule. The only two Chinese compies that got to stand up is DIDI and Kuaidi. Both of them work with the government and save the Taxi driver. And also an American company Uber. Why? Due to the algorithm of DIDI and Kuaidi, they don't have money to buy all the database just like uber. Usually, you need to spend more than 10 mins for calling a private car or taxi, especially in the morning peak and evening peak, the waiting time could be longer than 1 hour. Moreover, the taxi driver could pick which passenger he wants to ride; if there is a passenger who wants to go to a very far place, they might be no driver who wants to hang them because the driver knows where the passenger wants to go before they get into the car. This is a horrible experience for our users. Unlike Uber, the big database would automatically distribution passengers to drivers in a second. It is way faster and more convenient but not much safety cause there is no taxi. Uber realizes it is a shortage in the competition; then, they make the most significant decision-making, cooperation with didi. Because every foreign enterprise needs to share its market with one Chinese company, I think it is an excellent decision Uber makes this time. Uber shares their bigdata base with DiDi, and Didi shares their app and taxi driver with Uber. Therefore, when you use the uber app call taxi, the call could automatically switch to DiDi's app for the driver and still maintain the driver's driver's features could not pick the passenger. Therefore it is way more convenient and faster. The reason why Uber and DiDi want to cooperate together because they can beat the other ride app called Kuaidi (the one I mentioned before). Because of the fast speed and lower price, Kuaidi got kicked out of the market in 2019. In 2019, Uber gives permission to Didi and gradually withdrew from the Chinese mainland market (u can still use uber in Macao, Taiwan, and Hongkong in 2019, I don't know what about now due to the pandemic). In summary, do uber fail? Yes. But do he lost money? Absolutely no. In a simple calculation, if Uber has 200M user, Didi has 600M user, and Kuadi also have 600 M people user, Uber share 200M user to Didi and Didi use the power of 700M beat Kuaidi and gain all the passenger from Kuaidi, in the final Didi, got 1400M passengers and share 15% to Uber, Uber got 210M user in the end, and the new user will be rise up day by day. I think uber is having the easiest money making method in the world! The money goes into their pocket automatically. I don't think they lost at all.

The whole video made UBER like another victim of the Chinese market. But, Uber enter the Chinese market when two major competitors (yes, Didi is not the only carpooling service when Uber enters the market). Didi also invested 100M in Lyft in 2015, you can guess why. Uber entered at 2014, DIdi's merge at 2015, Uber leave at 2016.

WTF?????????? This video is so sketchy that fails to mention many points. 1. Uber was aware of DiDi before entering the market. They tried to buy shares of Didi but got rejected. 2. The subsidy war was started by Didi after they started non-taxi business, they were also afraid of Uber taking all the market shares. 3. Uber was expanding its advantages until Didi started investing Uber's opponents and called Tencent for help, hence the wechat drama. 4. Didi invested in Lyft, Grab, Ola at the same time to drain the source of Uber, and apparently it succeeded. I learned the above from a 45 min video nlcameras.info/wiki/kYO0c5mQsJvYrmU/video where Uber vs DiDi starts from 36 min. Sheer contrast in regards to the density of information. But in Mandarin though.

Didnt exactly fail if they got 19% of Didi the biggest taxi firm in the world. Didi was valued at $55billion in 2019 so Uber own around $10.5 billion of that, that's defo not a fail! "Didi also competed aggressively against international companies that tried to corner the Chinese market including Uber China. After Uber lost an estimated $2 billion in a market share battle, Uber brokered a truce with Didi Chuxing. Uber China sold its business to Didi and became a minority investor. Didi invested $1 billion in Uber as part of the deal."
