Trying to get my 7t pro fixed because it overheated while charging and went to shit and ruined the screen. Its been 3weeks since I sent it back and no progress yet XD I'm not impressed

The price keeps going up because every single time a new model is coming out people and reviewers pick it apart and say all the things they wish it had. Still doesn't have wireless charging ,still isn't water resistant, still doesn't have the greatest cameras etc etc etc I have a OP5 & 6 and I plan on trying to keep these as long as possible. The new models are just getting too expensive.

The Oneplus One was by far the best Phone I've ever used. IT was so different at the time and so much better in specs or performance than other phones that were out at the time. But now, the Oneplus 8 Pro I own is just an heavilly priced phone, that still performes very well, but it doesn't feel that special anymore like it did in 2014-2015 to use an Oneplus Phone... One good thing I really have to say is, that if you got a problem wirth your phone the customer support is one of the best I've ever experienced in my life!

the problem is that the flagship killers becam flagships. its not about wanting to sell to everyone... its about wanting to sell the same crap to as many as possible for as high a price as possible. just like every other company does. so on one hand your oversimplyfying, on the other hand you almost completely ignore the obvious. how is that even possible??!!???

Oneplus used to be good when I had 3t, but now with so many models they give software update (security patch) once in 5 months in my current 7t. Also oneplus 8 price increased and hardware got massively downgraded. Oneplus sort of becoming greedy like others and no longer follow their earlier strategy.

I used a oneplus one til 2020, even after the aux port broke i didn't want to change. That should say enough about how much i liked it, also it was just laziness. It took me years to switch to a 7T

was one of the few that used the OnePlus one, stopped using their devices at OnePlus 5t and then switched to Poco F1 when it came out, and now mostly only use Mid range phones since i dont find $800 and up phones appealing anymore, most just aint unique, all the flagships feel the same, am currently using a Poco X3 and i dont really care about smartphone camera since i always have my fuji gfx100 with me and a dedicated audio player as i prefer listening to music on wired IEMs.

I still use my OPO. But the reason why I am here right now is that I've been looking for a new phone. It's very slow by today's standards and the battery barely lasts one day with little use. Whereas in 2015 when I bought mine the OPO was the best choice, their phones now are more expensive and bring less to the table than, like you said, Xiaomi's phones

I started following you because of OnePlus One. I was one of the few lucky people with the invitation back in 2014 and was honoured to buy this device after watching your review and fell in love. Since that OnePlus was always one of my favourite phones.

Ya i also feels the same. OnePlus has now become more of a commercial company with average quality products than a flagship killer high quality products earlier. They have recently come with buds, buds z, fitness bands with no better feature then mi or other sheep market. I think OnePlus wants to become Apple & Mi combine. There is no wow feeling left in OnePlus products. They are now just putting their logo in any product.

Mine has a pink screen issue and the baseband is somewhat dead (phone features don't work most of the time), but I still use mine for things like DriveDroid. 6:53 Yep, I was disappointed with OnePlus once the 5 came out. I switched from my OnePlus One to an LG Stylus 3 as a temporary phone, then a Samsung Galaxy Note8, and I currently use a Sony Xperia 1 II.

While yes, it means they're less focussed, it also means they can provide more options for whatever pricepoint you're interested in, and imo that's better than a company just dying. However, I will clarify that I have a huge OnePlus bias. So of course I'd be defending them.

Loving the explainer videos! I updated my phone two weeks ago, and as a huge fan of my previous OnePlus-phones, I really wanted to go with the the 8T or the Pro. But the cameras, the colors and the Pro bump had me look elsewhere. Eventually I ended up getting the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE for a way lower price. Despite the cartoonish UI it's a really great phone.

People who are fanboys are doing damage to no one bit themselves.
