It's easy to forget that Leroy is a 'vette. I think what it needs is the taillights moved and spaced, so it makes you think they peeled body panels off a stock corvette and left lights hanging in their original spots. There's sort of a distinctive spacing of modern corvette taillights and I think even Leroy's bare lights could be spaced so they remind you of that. The other thing is that although I enjoy the cardboard capers and other shenanigans, Leroy would look sick with some sort of quick connect roof that borrows distinctive lines or shapes from either the hood or trunk of any modern corvette.

I have a C6 rear bumper cover that I will give you. I replaced the one on my street car. It is white. If you want it...no mechanical damage just paint blems.

Get a whole new rear bumper for ruby, and make it a whole new setup race wise. Go full chassis mounted wing, rear diffuser, front splitter, and make it a half mile or whole mile car. You could beat the corvette world record

The peel on the back is great, it's characteristic, it instantly shows that it is your car and that it is Ruby. Such things should remain no matter what.

I agree with Jackstand. Put the trans on the engine. Then maybe back half the car and put a nine inch solid axle with a 4 link, otherwise it's going to break axle shafts again.
