I used to make my own bayblades too. I did have real bayblades from the real old generation which could actially do serious damage and things based on the model. they where however deemed to dangerous for use at school. so I also had to hide beneath the bayblade pingpong table untill one fell of. eventually I made myown bayblades using hexscrews, lasercut rvs disks, and glas orbs as the top. they would spin seriously long but do even less damage or action than the new bayblades the others used and those rarely did anything. I made a new one using parts from a rc car, a small bicicle gear and the rc engine. this one spun long, fast, did some damage and was allowed at school. eventually manny years later I got my hands on the engine of a electric truk from which I combined parts with a bicicle gear(great to throw) to make a few kilo heavy top, it also did do decent damage, but was terrible to shoot

its just a saw blade spinning way too slow due to size....a beyblade top is also not as thin as that...they're about 4 millimeter large....some have double blade disc....dont go bigger than 7.5 centimeter wide(15 centimeter top and bottom sides together) otherwise you loose a huge amount of speed and balance (mostly speed lost)...blade wise...make them as if they were a shark fin but sharp(it make the blade impossible to bend(with correct size that is)).....the big question now is how to make a proper launch pad....i'am good with shape modelling but engineering is not my alley XD....like sure i could say go buy something that can serve as a spinner in store...but making a custom one for highter RPM would be much better .....EDIT FOR FUN FACT: did you know that creating a Tornado is possible ? first you build a cross(60 meter long each side)....make it 15 meter height and large.......start spinning that thing(just have wheels under to help the launching and rocket propulsor XD)......once its launched and at full speed the thing will probably spin for 1000 years with nothing able to stop it due to the massive weight XD
